This transit mount kit features both the Treknor Transit Mount, as well as the Ball-and-Socket mount. And the Treknor Transit Mount in this kit is designed to hold almost every pocket transit out there. This mount will hold our polymer transits (PAM22, PAM22-BLK), our cast aluminum pocket transit (CAP48), and even the polymer and aluminum standard transits from Brunton. Made of super durable PETG and aluminum, this mounting kit was built to last.
The bottom of this kit is made to receive any standard 1/4in-20 tripod mounting post, but you should make sure to use a special non-magnetic tripod to ensure compass accuracy. A great choice would be our lightweight non-magnetic tripod.
