Just like the rugged KB-14360RD sighting compass, the Tandem features an aluminum body housing a declination adjustable compass with one-third of a degree reading accuracy.
But the Tandem also features sighting clinometer with scales marked in degrees and percent. Perfect for determining slope or calculating the height of vertical objects.
The compass' adjustable declination feature means you read your true bearing directly from the compass (without making additional adjustments). The back of each body is equipped with a cotangent table for easy reference and a threaded camera tripod adapter for steady and precise measurements.
The compass scale is 0 to 360 degrees, with a reverse scale. The clinometer scale displays degrees from -90 to +90, and percent from -150 to +150. Included with each Tandem is a padded nylon cordura case with velcro closure.
